Wave of change Partners “Don’t Inflate to Celebrate” and “Ecotainment!” are proud to present their third screening of Rubber Jellyfish in just under THREE WEEKS on:
FRIDAY 3RD MAY 2019 AT THE VILLAGE HALL, CHILD OKEFORD 7-10PM
We will be having a craft & campaign hour before the film with the chance to buy delicious homemade light snacks (and drinks) too – kindly prepared, cooked and served by Sharon (from the Cafe at Goldhill Farm, Child Okeford) .
Have a go at making origami turtles or even have a go at creating your very own turtle made out of clay – workshop run by Creative Clay For All.
We shall have information from our ‘Don’t Inflate to Celebrate’ campaign at the screening too (as we are showing Rubber Jellyfish as part of our 10th Anniversary – a total opposite way to celebrate – to some peoples’ choice of celebrations – often in the form of aerial litter!)
We are still looking to raise funds for our further screenings so we shall have “Enviro-cups” (made from food-grade recycled stainless steel), “Marli’s Tangled Tale” ( Ellie Jackson’s children’s book about how balloons can impact wildlife) and “Casus Grill” (which is a eco-friendly, TRULY biodegradable single-use grill that we have been promoting for the last year as part of our BBQ with nature campaign).
The film (12A) will start at 8pm (it’s a documentary-style film and is 1 hr 20 minutes long).
We shall be having a Q&A session/discussion afterwards.
Hope to see *you* there! =)
